Sewing Pattern
The PRIMROSE dress will make you the prettiest girl at the dance... The skater skirt is made up of panels, making it a real showstopper with an open back, or more elegant with a full back. The neckline of the dress is delicately scooped. The front of the bust is gathered, and the back is cinched with an elasticated waistband. The remarkable detail of this pretty sewing pattern: the pleated, twisted cuff, almost like a trademark of your hand-sewn creation (this detail is the same whether you choose the buttoned cuff finish, or the simplified cuff without button version).
Booklet and plan are both in French and English.
Sewing level: INTERMEDIATE, the technical aspects include making the pleated cuff, the rip-stop slit on the buttoned cuff version, making the gathers and fitting the elastic.
Seam allowances of 1 cm are included.

- Fabrics in width of 140 cm:
34-38: 220cm

- 6 buttons between 10 and 12mm for the buttoned cuff version
- 40 cm length of iron-on interfacing for neckline and cuffs. We use the G710
- 1 elastic cut 2cm wide, length to be seen in the finished garment measurement table
Choice of fabric: Warp and weft fabrics only. I recommend a fabric with a soft drape, which falls nicely: a twill, a crepe or a viscose poplin, a fine jacquard, a soft and light wool for winter, or even a beautiful lace, fabrics weight 100 at 250g/m2 depending on the desired result.
